Aircraft Docks & Airport Structures
Lightweight and corrosion resistance are two of the major requirement with airlines and aircraft builders by selecting maintenance equipment. NIJL Composites has in collaboration with NIJL Aircraft Docking several aircraft docking systems developed which meet these requirements. All staircases, stair treads, flooring and hand/guard rail system could be made from Glassfiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) in

combination with a steel or aluminium support construction. The FRP flooring is available with different kind of surface textures. FRP products are resistance against SKYDROL and other aggressive fluids.

Airport Structures
FRP structures have all kind of advantages in regard with steel or aluminium. Application from FRP which are used at airports are platforms, weather towers, walkways, flooring and handrail systems. In certain areas at the airports radar systems are used and therefore its necessary to have materials that are transparent to radio frequencies. Our FRP products provided the ideal solution because they not only offer the RF transparency required, but the durable materials will withstand the sometimes extreme climate with ease and are strong enough to support a heavy equipment load.
