Fiberglass grating

Pultruded grating DURADEK® is our standard pultruded grating product. DURADEK® is a flame retardant product utilising a polyester resin. The bearing bars use both longitudinal (glass roving) and multidirectional (glass mat) reinforcements as well as a synthetic surfacing veil to provide unequalled corrosion resistance. |

DURAGRID® custom grid or grating systems are designed to accommodate specific applications that cannot effectively be met by our standard fibreglass grating. DURAGRID® offers the customer options such as selection of open space, bar shape, cross-rod placement, custom fabrication, custom resin or colour. |

DURAGRID® Heavy Duty fibreglass grating is our pultruded bar type grating that can be designed and used like traditional metal grates. The solid individual bearing bars are designed to take heavy wheel traffic such as fork lifts, tow motors and truck traffic. Heavy duty grating is constructed of the same type composite used in the other DURAGRID® products. |

DURAGRID® Phenolic Grating is a dramatic innovation for markets where fire safety is a major concern; offering superior resistance to flame and high temperature with low smoke and toxic fume emissions. The non-flammable nature of phenolics enable phenolic grating to withstand higher temperatures than polyester or vinyl ester for extended periods of time without major structural damage. |

Molded grating DURAGRATE® molded fiberglass grating is the chemical resistant flooring choice for many industrial applications. The high resin content (65%) provides long maintenance-free performance. |

DURAGRATE® The strong mesh grating panel allows efficient on-site cutting to minimize grating waste. Molded grating is significantly lighter in weight than metallic gratings. Standard DURAGRATE® grating has a concave profile on the upper surface for skid resistance. Grit tops are available upon request. |
Materials of Construction
Molded grating is composed of fiberglass rovings combined with a choice of five thermosetting resin systems.
• VE-a premium grade vinyl ester, for high chemical resistance
• XVE-a premium grade vinyl ester, with extra fire resistance (a flame spread rating of 10 or less)
• PP-an all-purpose isophthalic polyester for industrial applications
• GP-a general purpose orthophthalic polyester for architectural or other applications with less
corrosion problems
• FF-an economical isophthalic polyester for food processing or similar applications
